In reality – we’re being very strict on Elisha and it’s very likely that she’d score a band 9.0 in the test if she were to sit it properly. We just want to highlight some of the important things for students to consider.

  1. In this video, we will be very strict with Elisha (again) when it comes to pronunciation. In reality, she probably deserves a band 9.0 but it's important to make all YOU GUYS (students) understand the importance of the band descriptors.

  4. Hi there! could anyone explain what they mean here please?
21: 23 yeah, so I got about fifty on the dot for the subject.
22:30 (why do you think you have that extra motivation) after you were just hitting bang on fifty?

  7. How can I distinguish between Glottal stops and "lost the ending sounds" mistakes? In my country, we usually miss the ending sounds when speaking and it makes the score reduce.

  8. Great video quality. It would be helpful if you can share the microphones used in the interviews and if possible why not a video on making. Just curious to know behind the scenes.

  11. Anybody noticed her way of speaking was better in first video but now she thinks alot before speaking, actually IELTS classes undoubtedly improve the grammatical error but eradicate the natural touch in speaking.

  16. 31:35 Thank you, I learned a lot from this video. BTW, from the IELTS website, it says that if the average ends in .25 and .75 it is rounded UP to the next whole band. Can you please confirm?

  17. Hey. What can we use instead of “it really depends on” in order not to repeat ourselves?

  19. I consider she has done a brilliant performance. It must be very difficult to be aware of your pronunciation when trying to think of ideas and good expressions to use. I would be stuck in a situation like that for sure 😰. Excellent Elisha !! 👏👏👏
